Garam Masala

In this grand old universal taste enhancer, 13 spices are carefully blended. Chili provides an exotic red gravy to dishes due to its chili base. Because it is a less intense garam masala, it is widely used throughout India. The blend of fennel, tej patta (cinnamon leaves), and Triphala imparts a cooling effect.


It is primarily used to prepare vegetarian dishes that require gravy. Usually, Gujaratis and Marwaris use it in lentil dishes (dal) and snacks such as samosas, usual, Patra, and farsan.
